Light Whole Wheat Bread. Bread machine recipe for a 1-1/2 lb loaf. 1-1/4 cup warm water (296g). 1 Tbl olive oil (14g). 2 Tbl honey or maple syrup (42g). 1-1/2 cup whole wheat flour (180g). 1-1/2 cup bread flour (206g). 1 tsp active dry yeast. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Add ingredients to the bread pan in the order specified by the bread machine manufacturer. Set machine for basic/white bread, medium crust, 1-1/2 lb loaf, extras. Press start and let the machine do it's thing.

1 cup tomatoes - diced or canned diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup onion - finely chopped. 1-2 jalapeno peppers - finely chopped or ground. 2 cloves garlic - finely chopped or crushed. 1 oz fresh lime juice (1/2 lime). 2-4 tbsp fresh cilantro - chopped. 1 tsp olive oil. 1 Tbl red wine vinegar. 1/2 tsp chili powder. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 2 green chilis or a 4 oz can. (OPTIONAL). 1/4 cup Bell pepper - finely chopped. (OPTIONAL). 1/2 cup celery - finely chopped. (OPTIONAL). Mix 5 seconds in a blender at medium speed.

I followed the heartbreaking Browns off and on for many years when I lived in the Cleveland area. But I lost interest when Art Modell moved the team to Baltimore.
