Saturday, October 14, 2006. Last weekend my husband and I celebrated one whole year of marital bliss. Saturday was a beautiful Minnesota October day, just like our wedding day, so we. Wednesday, November 15, 2006. I went to a funeral today. A wonderful man, an amazing, spiritual, kind-hearted man died Saturday morning. He was 53 years old. His wife could not wake him up, and then he was gone. He leaves behind two young daughters and a church full of stunned friends and colleagues. I don’t get it. I can’t wrap my head around it. As much as we may complain about our crazy lives and our need for more time and money (and less Bush), we are all very fortunate in most every way.
