Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Lamp: Before and After. Hey All, We're back from our weekend trip to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, Australia. We had a great whirlwind trip with the highlight, actually, being the ranch B&B we stayed at. I'll have a post all about it and pictures soon. You can also see the formal dining room, that we decorated, in this picture. The blue table, the lamp is sitting on, is the old one from the breakfast room that we moved out and was on its way out to the garage. Isabella ...

One Girls' Style: House Tour
http://onegirlsstyle.blogspot.com/p/house.html
These photos totally need to be updated, because it's now been a year and a half since our big move from Hawaii to Australia and things have changed a bit; nonetheless, here are a few photos of our Australian decor. The two Asian hats are from: top, Hawaii; bottom, Korea. I bought the dining table and chairs from a small business in Florida that imports from India. Desk chair is vintage, drafting table is vintage, the two photographs hanging from the mantel are vintage photos of Ireland. Added a geode in...

Farm Fresh: January 2012
http://farmfresh-rrd.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 25, 2012. South of The Border. How does the old song go? South of the border, down Mexico way. That's where I fell in love, when the stars above came out to play. And now as I wander, my thoughts ever stray. South of the border, down Mexico way." Love Sinatra! These days my thoughts seem to be as Sinatra's, ever straying south of the boarder. I can't just pin point one reason why. It could be the vibrant colors, the rich culture, the art or maybe the food? Decorating a hot pink wall!

One Girls' Style: Texas Client Project {Art}
http://onegirlsstyle.blogspot.com/2013/09/texas-client-project-art.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Texas Client Project {Art}. Is now finished (more pics coming soon) and now it's time to add a couple prints to the wall above the sofa. So far we have a collection of three large pieces of driftwood and a mirror covered in oyster shells hanging above the sofa. To round it out and make it feel like a gallery feature wall, I think we should add some abstract art. Here are my two favorites and the ones I'll be suggesting. Print by Samantha Hallenus}. From Ikea, to unify the pair.

One Girls' Style: Kilim Ottoman Coffee Table & Life
http://onegirlsstyle.blogspot.com/2013/09/kilim-ottoman-coffee-table-life.html
Thursday, September 26, 2013. Kilim Ottoman Coffee Table and Life. Lately, I've been thinking about changing out our coffee table for an upholstered kilim ottoman. Currently, we have a live edge vintage wood coffee table (which I do like), but my husband is constantly using my lovely Turkish kilim pillows as cushions for his feet when he props them up on the table. So not cool! In other news, the trainer at the gym has decided to torture me. She put together my personal fitness plan and it's grueling...

Anyway, there will be a shop update sometime in the first week of December. Yet to be decided. I'll announce it here when it happens, and in the meantime, check out all the action over on instagram. Where I post daily process shots of spoon carving, dog walking, kitty cuddling, and recently, a TON of fall leaves. Hope your summer was grand and your winter will be marvelous!
