Three of the ETA ladies and I grabbed a cab to whisk us away to a bus stop, then bussed our way to the outskirts of Chuncheon- a.ka. THE MOUNTAINS! A Buddhist Temple (Cheongpyeongsa Buddhist Temple). A common Korean urban legend/superstition that if you leave an electric fan running in a room overnight with the windows/doors closed, YOU WILL DIIIEEEE! Korean-manufactured fans even come equipped with timers that you can set your fan on to turn off automatically during the night. No, really. There are over 150 varieties of kimchi. NO PLAYING HORNS IN KOREA!

Today, somewhere in between leaving Chuncheon and heading to the North/South Korea border to take a tour of the DMZ, our orientation group somehow ended up marching in a Tomato Festival parade as the token Americans, wearing matching t-shirts, and getting sprayed with supersoakers. This is why I love Korea. Mr and Mrs. Tomato Festival. Samulnori-Traditional Korean Folk Drumming. We're in the parade!
