The pick was organized by the Halton Fruit Tree Project. A volunteer-based group that picks excess fruit from private property in the area, and then donates it to local food banks. A local food wedding, from seed to plate. How much does it cost? Finally, wedding photos. March 16, 2011. We had our wedding ceremony outdoors right next to a lake. We were lucky to have perfect weather. My parents grew gourds and dried flowers for the table settings. A friend designed the program/menu. We made gallons and gallons of half sour kosher dill pickles for the wedding, for us, and to sell. Caprese salad: tomatoes, basil and mozzarella. This kale salad with Braggs and maple syrup was a big hit.
