Speaking the Local Vinacular: Did you know?....What "Funky" Wine Means
http://localvinacular.blogspot.com/2014/09/did-you-knowwhat-funky-wine-means.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2014. What "Funky" Wine Means. Funky" is a funny descriptor. Recently a friend mentioned someone had described a wine to her as "funky," and she didn't know what that meant. I thought about it, and then I realized: people say "funky" when they don't know what else to say. The wine is so different that they can't easily describe it. Funny.but true. Speaking the Local Vinacular: Should You Drink Wine From a Plastic Cup?
http://localvinacular.blogspot.com/2012/06/should-you-drink-wine-from-plastic-cup.html
Friday, June 15, 2012. Should You Drink Wine From a Plastic Cup? Say you are throwing a party, but you've invited more guests than you have wine glasses. Is it okay to serve wine out of plastic cups? Of course it is! But just like glassware, the trick is to find the right glasses, or cup in this case. A plastic cup at a well-to-do function. So, we think there is definitely a need for plastic at times, but we prefer glass whenever possible. Posted by Nathan and Tina. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Keeping up with the Nuttersons: August 2012
http://nutterson.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. Eloise at 8 months. Eloise's eighth month has been a big one! She got her second tooth and started a true crawl! Before she could crawl in the traditional sense (she was rolling all around before that) she had learned how to get in and out of sitting position. I was very impressed by this! She also sits up VERY straight. She loves bath time! Eloise loves to stand. She can pull herself up, too! She wants to be running with her sister, but crawling will have to do for now. Yes, it ...

Monday, July 16, 2012. Life is better at the beach. Here is a dump of (some of the) photos taken on my phone from the cottage this summer. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Eloise is 6 months old today! Can you believe it has already been 6 months since Eloise made her grand entrance into our world? We noticed her first tooth this morning! It was very clear when she started teething last week, so we introduced a Baltic amber teething necklace to ease the pain. We forgot about it for 2 days, and voila! We aren't re...

Keeping up with the Nuttersons: March 2012
http://nutterson.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. Time has flown by over the past two months since Eloise's arrival. So much has gone down, and we certainly have our hands full. We go to bed (at varying times) each night, exhausted, but mostly full of joy celebrating our family of four. Here's what we've been up to. Rosalie loved playing with her cousins, and is especially fond of baby Henry. She would always suck her thumb when she got close to him! Eloise and I spend the mornings together and each day is different. Some da...

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Is this baby store straight out of 1993? Tuesday, December 13, 2011. What a Difference a Day Makes. Yesterday morning I went into work a bit late after stopping by the lab at our clinic. I needed to drop off my 24-hour urine collection from Sunday, and have blood drawn. I felt confident that these labs would just reassure me that everything was fine. My BP was still normal and healthy, and I trusted these measurements because they were taken by a machine. I have never fe...

Pics of Our Garden. How to Identify GMO Produce. July 14, 2015. By Jay Z Mag. Http:/ www.TheRawfoodfamily.com. I can imagine that you do not like this information, because it is uncomfortable. Didn’t say that it would be easy to be in charge of all the food you eat. But at least is it possible! As I have quite some distrust for labels on the food, I want to know FOR SURE that my food is GMO free and organic. I love how we can take the power back using the simple tips I am giving here in this video. Those...
