Since I'm Swedish, I suppose it's unsurprising that I've got a soft spot for Luigi Scattini's Svezia, inferno e paradiso. This is one of the two alternate posters for the film. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on the other, more well-known, poster. I once wrote a review of the film that can still be found here. Blog) in Video Watchdog 145. Is arguably his best film and one of the finest examples of Italian crime cinema. Franco Nero is excellent as Vice Comissioner Belli, who's willing to go to great lengths to stop a drug smuggling ring. This is one of my favourite crime posters in all its simplicity, but unfortunately I've got no info on the poster artist. Enzo G. Castellari.

Saturday, 9 May 2009. Love, Lock and Load. A different approach with this one. Rather than just use soundtrack music I added some contemporary tracks by the likes of Nicola Conte and Depth Charge alongside some old favorites such as Bruno Nicolai and Peppino De Luca. Also, I experimented by adding snippets of dialogue from various Euro Cult movies, the effect of which I think works quite well and I'll be doing this again on the next compilation.
