Blackrock Hospice & Apartments, Dublin. Blackrock Hospice and Apartments, Dublin. Situated in the former Carmelite Monastery site, this development includes 52 apartments which helped to fund a 3,000 sq metre hospice. The scheme responds to the site by allowing the apartments form a new edge onto the Frascati Road and integrating the hospice with the existing eighteenth century house and chapel from 1901 to enclose a contemplative garden.
