There are various activities which can be undertaken by the members and families of a private lodge co-ordinated by the Charity Steward under the overall frame work of the Grand lodge of Western Australia. Charity activities are generally organised by the Charity Steward and in most instances he also suggests to which organisation the efforts should be directed to and generally involves activities for raising of funds to suit that purpose. Programme of personal contact has proven to be the most effective in the care of our Brethren and Widows of the lodge. It is urged, without going overboard, that contact be made about once every two months. It is more about letting absentee members know that we do care and encourage them to keep the lodge informed.
