5 – 12 years of age. We believe that before-school and after-school programs help promote a child’s love of learning, expand their interests and help build friendships that can last a lifetime. Our school-age program offers children ages 5 through 12 an opportunity to gather with friends, explore science and cooking, dabble in music and drama, and challenge others in a wide variety of games. Our school-age playground has been specially designed with the older children in mind.

All of our Early Childhood teachers are certified by the State of Colorado and have at least two years of teaching experience. All employees of OPENair Academy are thoroughly screened which includes background checks, CPR certification, First Aid and Universal Precautions. We have a unique in-house training program to provide our teachers with continual training and education. HOW DID YOU BECOME A DIRECTOR? WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED IN YOUR CAREER AS AN EDUCATOR? WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO WORK AT OPENair ACADEMY? I originally began working with this school in 2006 when its doors first opened. As a resident of Reunion, I wanted to be a part of a program that supports children and families in the community where I live. It has been a wonderful opportunity see the impact that our teachers and our programs have had on children as they grow and experience the excitement of learning.

12 – 36 months of age. In our two toddler classrooms, children make great developmental strides from their first steps to potty training. Energetic and experienced teachers encourage the energy and curiosity of toddlers, and provide classrooms with opportunities for exploration and investigation. We strictly enforce our sick policy for the protection of all children, and are blessed to work with parents who know the importance of keeping children at home until they are well.
