Life + Lemons: Just As I Am
http://loganandjill.blogspot.com/2012/09/just-as-i-am.html
Just As I Am. And, "What if tomorrow these dear friends of ours are gone - killed in a terrible car accident? How would we feel? And, "I need to exercise more. Her arms look great. my arms don't look all that great. But, then again, they never really have. I should exercise more. Oh well.". From those thoughts, I started thinking of all the things I want to be but I fail at, but how these friends of ours and Logan, sitting in front of me, don't care about all of that. They just love me. I don't know if I...
Life + Lemons: Treasure
http://loganandjill.blogspot.com/2012/09/treasure.html
I think this verse struck me because I am the queen. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. She was visited. by an ANGEL. and her response was to treasure everything that happened and ponder them in her heart. Not run and tell the first person who came to her mind, but treasure it. And ponder it. I would have put it in the newspaper for crying out loud! As is the case with most of my blog posts, there's really no earth-shattering point to this post beyond just my own way o...
Life + Lemons: Looking Back on 2012, Looking Forward to 2013
http://loganandjill.blogspot.com/2013/01/looking-back-on-2012-looking-forward-to.html
Looking Back on 2012, Looking Forward to 2013. As with everything in my life, this post is probably a little late. At this point, I've come to accept that as a daily reality and I can roll with it. I feel the need to do a "Year in Review" post just for my own memories, but honestly, I'm ready to look forward. 2012 was a . different year for us. It certainly wasn't hard. Lemon Tree is still thriving, and I'm still trying to whittle down my list of Lemon Tree goals for 2013. 2012 brought a lot of unexp...
Life + Lemons: My Better Half
http://loganandjill.blogspot.com/2012/09/my-better-half.html
Sometimes the only thing that will make me feel better when I'm not feeling like myself is not a hug, a prayer, or a word of encouragement. It's not a warm cup of coffee or a slice of pie or a phone call from a long lost friend. It's not new clothes, a clean house, or my dog (yes, I do mean that). It's just my husband. To sit the corner chair in my office and remind me why I do what I do and that I am doing it as best I can. It's just him. How did I ever get so lucky to have him? Thoughts of Jill Thompson.
Life + Lemons: Meeting Myself
http://loganandjill.blogspot.com/2013/05/meeting-myself.html
I feel the need to apologize when I haven't written in awhile, and then I feel silly because this is MY blog and I can do whatever the heck I want. So. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry.]. The lesson at church today reached down deep into my gut, grabbed something, and ripped it out so I could look at it and realize how ugly I was becoming. Thank you for that, Dave. Oh, how deeply this hit my heart. Like A. Ton. Of. Bricks. And when I can't do anything about getting a house - when our savings goals are met an...

http://keelaesmith.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 11, 2012. I know this is a horrible picture, but it was the only one I took when we went to pick out our tree. I haven't ever had a real tree before so when Andrew suggested, I wasn't the biggest fan. but after about two convincing conversations, I was totally on board. So so so fun to come home to the smell and bah I just love it so much. It's the small things, people. Love those oreos (and yes, Andrew and I are eating them as I type this. oopsie. Sunday, December 9, 2012. We had a WON...

Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Beware: Hodgepodge of pictures to come. What a crazy, wonderful, growing, challenging, fun, and busy season this has been. The semester is over, we have done LOTS of celebrating, and even more growing and thinking about what is next for us (jobs, ministry, life, faith, everything). April was crazy at Lipscomb with TONS of stuff going on. We had Bob Goff in April, as well as some other really awesome people on campus! We got to meet a little angel, Hattie Shinnick! Look at that face!

http://keelaesmith.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 9, 2013. Seasons come and seasons go. Yet another summer season is rapidly coming to an end, and what a great summer this has been. God has been so gracious with His rest and life and I am so thankful for the past few months of renewal and joy! It's been a slow-ish summer and Andrew and I have had alot of time to just be. And because of that, I am more excited and ready for the new year to start! Holding tight to the lyric from United Pursuit:. I will climb this mountain.
the Smiths.: September 2013
http://keelaesmith.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. The great I Am. Life has been busy, good, wonderful, overwhelming, full of life, draining, and everything in between lately. Thankful for my wonderful husband (of almost one year, Sunday- don't worry, there will be a super sappy emotional post this weekend) for walking through the chaos with me. My bible classes were always my favorite in college, but I guess it never donned on me that I yearned to learn more about the bible. Crazy, huh haha). To tell Andrew all about it.

Saturday, November 8, 2014. As stated before, we did alot of traveling this fall season. Last summer event was heading to our beach retreat with the Campus Ministry team and some dear friends. It was fun to be together in all of our travels and I couldn't be more thankful that we have such incredible family, friends, co-workers, and community in our lives. Wednesday, January 15, 2014. I don't normally make new years resolutions. 1 My 'year' still runs from August to August in my head. So dreaming and visioning and reflecting often comes in the summertime when things are much less crazy at work. 2 I'm not very good at starting fresh in January because things gear back up crazy :). 3 As much as both 1 and 2 are completely true. I'm also not very good at settings year-long goals and sticking to them. I am. In the high percentage group of ". And I think it's r...
the Smiths.: February 2014
http://keelaesmith.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 19, 2014. A few weeks ago Andrew and I got to travel with some sweet friends, Josh and April, to Snowshoe, WV to ski for a few days! Andrew, sweet man that he is, surprised me with skis for Christmas and they had only gotten to be used at Perfect North (no offense, Lawrenceburg, still love you) but we were REALLY looking forward to going somewhere a little bit bigger! It was a snowy winter wonderland. Yes, I was trying to dress up as Bane on the mountain ;). Monday, February 17, 2014.

Up in the Air! My adventures in Dallas and leading up to it! Friday, September 2, 2011. What I've Done All Week. This weekly recap is coming a little bit early because I'll be on the road all day tomorrow with no time to blog and because I am currently waiting on tie-dye to dry! I don't have my handy dandy planner, so this might be a little bit inaccurate. I do apologize. I am sure I did something else too, but I can't think of it! The plate I made last week. 65279; . Friday, October 3, 2014. June 25, 2014. First let me make an excuse for why I slacked on the blog. After my last post I had to finish school, find a new place to live in Arizona (without getting to check them out first) not district Logan from studying for the two most important tests of his career, figure out what to do with our town home, sell our car, pack our house and oh yeah be pregnant! Those were some stressful months but it all worked out! So she checked me at that appointment and I was only dil...

Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Tire Drama at the Cinders. So Utah may be my paradise, but the Cinders (North of Flagstaff, AZ) is Logan's retreat! I swear that man could live there and off road, and drive like a crazy person for the rest of his life. What fun we had. Starts installing these "amazing" paddle tires. He gets so excited that when is tries to remove the regular tires, he breaks the steam off of them. We have to drive into Flagstaff and go to discount tires to get it replaced. Our Cambodian Adventure
We are currently on our OE - volunteering for 9 months at Hagar International, Phnom Penh www.hagarinternational.org. Sunday, 9 December 2012. The Last Word…For Now. Our time in Phnom Penh is drawing to a speedy close! Since our last blog, Logan completed his first half marathon fundraising for Hagar. The course was through the temples at Siem Reap. It was a fantastic experience (well, for me at least, I ran 10km) and Logan raised NZ$2,000 for Hagar. Thank you to everyone who supported Logan! Thank you f...
