McLain Family Moments: April 2011
http://mclainfamilymoments.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. You be the judge. Cast off- did not go well. We went in thinking, like the doctor said, that the only potential problem was if the two bones he broke grew back together. Pat assured me we didn't have to worry about that because of the way Big Boy could rotate his arm, even in the cast. And we was right, the bones did not grow together. So we were very optimistic. Big Boy was a great patient and got to keep his cast, which was awesome! But isn't he still so cute and happy? Yes, t...

McLain Family Moments: Epcot
http://mclainfamilymoments.blogspot.com/2012/02/epcot.html
Thursday, February 2, 2012. Yep, still here and still trudging through our trip documentation! This day we hit, and loved every second of, EPCOT! Epcot was a real goldmine for our character signings. For Sissy especially. Studs took a picture with Stitch and Donald, but that was it. Everyone else he felt was too "princess-ey". You have your own computer screen for the ride and they plug your faces into a story. The kids were so amazed at this. Studs loved seeing real sharks. I was worried the kids wouldn...

McLain Family Moments: January 2011
http://mclainfamilymoments.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 10, 2011. My kids woke up with only one thing on their mind this morning:. And after an hour of digging up clothes and adding 4 layers we were finally ready! Sissy is all about the snow- laying in it, eating it, throwing it. That is, until she gets cold. And then she wanted to go in. Big Boy, surprisingly, is not a "lay in the snow" type boy. He likes to run in it and that is about it. However, he would have also stayed outside all day if I would have let him. Links to this post. Pat and ...

McLain Family Moments: December 2010
http://mclainfamilymoments.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. Well, Santa must have been really proud of the kids' behavior this year because it seems they really hit the jackpot. Daddy and I both thought Santa might have accidentally gone a little overboard. Big Boy got his robot he wanted, a spaceship, a firestation, Evil Dr. Porkchop, Buzz and robot pjs, playdough, Leapster games, board games, and stocking stuff. She loves it and loves belting out all sorts of songs. And they were spoiled rotten with even more presents! As I type this)...

McLain Family Moments: February 2011

Monday, February 14, 2011. A 5 to remember Part One. Shamelessly posting multiple pics of my sweet five year old in her "cupcake shirt", which she loves. Thank you. This year, with the Disney trip and all, we talked Sissy into doing a family only party that would still consist of lots of people and lots of presents. SHe picked out a Rapunzel/Tangled theme and we were on! With Great Gma Steen. Sis' cousins came to the party as well. Big Boy loooves playing with his baby cousin H. Links to this post. Every...

McLain Family Moments: September 2011
http://mclainfamilymoments.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 19, 2011. With Disney World being less than 2 months away, we decided to have a small, family party for Studs this year. After attending Sissy's first soccer game the morning of his birthday, Studs came home to find. Disney on Ice: Toy Story. Tickets as a surprise afternoon treat. Grandma had Sissy and Mommy needed to stay home to prep for the party, so Daddy and Studs spent the afternoon together. I have no idea. And this was the result! Not too shabby, but after many, many hours of wo...

McLain Family Moments: November 2010
http://mclainfamilymoments.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. We had one of the busier weekends that I think we have ever had over the Thanksgiving holiday. We saw a. Of family and besides sleeping were in our house less than a couple hours! I wish I had a picture of the number of people there- there are 19 cousins alone, not counting significant others and their children. The kids had a blast and we stayed all day until bedtime. Sissy loved helping out. Sissy had a great time and kept coming upstairs to do dances or shows for us. On Frid...

Wednesday, December 21, 2011. After 2 long days at the park we decided to drive up to the beach the next day. Cocoa Beach is only a 40 minute drive from Orlando so we packed up and headed out first thing. We all wore shorts and tees, and I took our swimsuits "just in case". Ha! When we got over to the beach I soon realized we needed our suits on asap! It was 80 some degrees out w/beautiful blue sunny skies. Studs wasn't quite as brave as Sis and didn't spend as much time in the water. The waves were ...
