Thursday, August 12, 2010. We are on the other side :-). Today was Logan's very anticipated surgery! We had to be here at Children's for 9:30 for all of the Pre-Op paper work and test. Originally his surgery was scheduled for 11:00, but due to bad weather and flooded street, it was pushed back. It was after 1 pm when they finally took him back. The operation went exceptionally well and he had minimal blood loss. Right now we are on the 4th floor recovering! Pics from todays events will be posted soon!

Friday, August 13, 2010. All I can say is WOW! Everyone I talked to who has been through this before said that the first night is the hardest, THEY WERE RIGHT! Shortly after getting into his room and getting familiarized with the nurses they asked if I wanted to hold him. I said "PLEASE"! I sat in the big blue chair and they finally handed me my little angel back! The hardest part was knowing that there wasnt very much that I could do to make it better, but to just hold him and comfort him, so i did!
