Thursday, June 5, 2008. Easter traditions, and one of them is the egg hunt. 40 yrs ago it was hard boiled eggs, now it is plastic eggs with treats or money inside. At least when you miss one, it doesn't rot after a week or two. After Brett and Bob hid the eggs in the front yard. out the back door came the boys with their baskets. The hunt was on. Under the trees, up in the trees, in the tall grass etc. They were all found. Ben spied another one and is on the run to get it. A train was being built.

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Peach Time in TX. We got a better price by taking 3 boxes so we had plenty to share and lots to slice for future cobbler and lots of freezer jam. We have been eating fresh peaches every day on our cereal or in a fruit bowl. Oh my they are good. We have 2 drawers full of freezer jam and the one deep drawer with the slice peaches. I hope that is enough for the year. we will look forward to next year and I think we need to involve some others in our adventure. Peach Time in TX.

Wednesday, March 16, 2011. We are moved in! I can't believe after so long, we are finally moved in. We have slept 4 nights in our new home now. Every day we make it a little more ours. You know all those finishing touches and putting out all those things that have been packed away for 6 years. Sunday, November 7, 2010. It has been awhile since I posted before. We are now back in TX and have made a major decision. We have bought a lot in Sun City, TX (Georgetown) and will be building a new home. We looked at many resales and the new house won. We are pleased with our decision. So dear friends here is the next part of our journey. This is our lot. exciting isn't it. We do have a view of a little bit of the hill country. This what we will see from our patio and living room.
