Online home of a logophile ( not “logos” but “λόγος”. As of 1:30pm, Tuesday December 15th, I have gained a doctorate in something approximating formal philosophy of language. As implicated by the level of precision, at time of writing this is rather recent and still somewhat hard for me to grasp. You can download a copy of my dissertation. And in fact I still have some paper copies left (they smell much nicer than the electronic version does). I and my colleague Dr Michael Franke.

http://www.logophile.org/About

Online home of a logophile ( not “logos” but “λόγος”. My name is Tikitu de Jager. I'm a programmer, PhD. Prolific reader, occasional writer, casual musician. Linguistic enthusiast. I used to proofread for academic friends. The Man from Ironbark. I can fix a flat bicycle tyre. I can't spell "reccommend" but I can do it. The site is hosted by Dreamhost. And runs on PmWiki. The design (which still needs some tweaking) is a somewhat modified version of Scott Allan Wallick's veryplaintxt. You can mail me at.

Mar 25, 2016. I just deleted my wordpress blog. And I felt a great weight lift off my shoulders! Jan 2, 2016. Since just after Christmas 2014 I’ve been keeping a reading diary: nothing fancy, just title, author, and date I finished reading each book. [ 2299 words. Dec 28, 2015. 2015: Year in Review. The last two years I’ve written a short retrospective. Three times makes it a habit, I guess. [ 1977 words. Oct 11, 2015. Aug 17, 2015. Please welcome into the world Yannos Nikau de Jager!

Histoire de dire

Envoyer à un ami. Misterioso, Arne Dahl.

...........Just Another Day...........

In the life of a somewhat sane girl in a crazy world. Tuesday, September 3, 2013. And Here We Go. How is it possible that today is my last day as a normal human being? All turn out okay. And to be honest I'd probably rather have it in a book than on a blog. But whatever works. It's in exactly a month. I got...
