My adventures in the holy land. Monthly Archives: December 2011. Ready….Set….Fly? Working out, its not the end.”. Truer words were never said. This plane flight will be so long, that heck, I might be a hobo for 14 hours and get a free blanket and meal! I leave JFK at 8:55pm and arrive in Tel Aviv at 2:45pm the next day. From Seattle to Jerusalem there is a ten-hour time difference. At 6am in Seattle it is 4pm in Jerusalem. So calling/Skyping might be a little…interesting. So what you hav….

My adventures in the holy land. So what you hav…. So what you have been dying to hear: my first post from Israel! By Tina Fey was the perfect thing to listen to on the flight over, it was all I could do to not wake up my seatmates by busting out laughing. We observe the Sabbath on Saturday instead of Sunday here like our Orthodox Jewish neighbors. In a way, it seems almost more fitting, even though it keeps throwing me off. 3 thoughts on “ So what you hav…. January 10, 2012 at 2:58 pm. Hahaha whoops on t...

Candace's World: December 2009
http://candacesamazingworld.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 11, 2009. Not only does this time of the year bring cold (20 degree highs this last week), but it also brings the Spirit of Christmas. Last Saturday I had a primary party at my house and my little eleven year olds helped me decorate my Christmas tree. We got it done with only breaking one ornament. I think they did a great job as you see above. I've also really been enjoying the lights, music, and little things that remind me of the Savior's birth. Merry Christmas everyone!

Candace's World: January 2009
http://candacesamazingworld.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 15, 2009. Mom's Purse was stolen. Mom and Dad didn't make a big deal out of the episode at the Idaho Falls temple on December 30. We came out of the temple to find the suburban's window smashed in and Mom's purse gone. We spent a little time calling the bank, credit cards, police, etc. covered the window with a blanket and got back to Blackfoot. Most of my pictures didn't turn out, but this one of Boyce says it all. What a wonder Christmas is. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Loie Wandering ...
