A Veritable Cornucopia of WTF-ery. Scenes from a Laundromat. Jun 22nd, 2009 at 12:44 AM. As some of you may know, ever since. We still don't have a washer, and probably won't for at least several more months, so the weekly treks to the 'mat continue. I went yesterday with only my clothes and the bedsheets and towels to wash- Paul and his clothes were out of town- and prepared myself for the usual two-hour-long ordeal. R across the room and watch the buffoonery unfold from afar. Yesterday's entertainment ...

Work and Wedding - The Other Side of Silence
http://jacobine.livejournal.com/96180.html
Work and Wedding - The Other Side of Silence. Sun, Mar. 19th, 2006 07:52 pm. Whee I have my own office at work. Finally! After five and a half years. I went up today to make sure I had all my stuff, but I wasn't very productive with unpacking. Mostly I shuffled things around. I think this is because the office is going to make me insane. The walls are crooked. I will miss my windows, as well. Maybe I can steal a fish tank from somebody, or get my own. Anybody want to be a bridesmaid? My best friend in Na...

Had a craving for mac-n-cheese (like, REAL mac-n-cheese), but wanted to see if I could do it kinda healthy. Bought some Ronzoni Smart Taste penne pasta (semolina wheat pasta, but with 3x the fiber as regular pasta, and the same amount of calcium as a glass of milk, boiled and drained it (used 1/2 box), then made this sauce. 1/2 c skim milk. 1 piece of Laughing Cow Fat Free swiss cheese (1oz). 2 oz of shredded mozarella. 3 oz of shredded reduced fat (2%milk) sharp cheddar. I found this chicken with herbs and olives the other day - healthy and delicious. Http:/ tlc.discovery.com/guides/coo. The sauce is just amazing! I used whole wheat angel hair as a starch, but you could do rice too. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Easter Lemming Live Journal. Heed my words, ye who crave tastings of the fabled faerie snatch: it may be punani suicide elsewhere, but elf ears, pirate coats and resplendent locks are like catnip to the ladies of the ‘con. And don’t worry about them being cool. They know what happens at Faeriecon stays at Faeriecon. Held over three days in Baltimore, the most magical of locations, Faeriecon 2009 brought together children, gamers, Pagans, Ren-festers, steampunks, bellydancers(? 11/14/09 03:31 pm (UTC).

The Radical Pursuit of Randomness and Nonsense. Just a former ugly duckling lookin for my Swan place. The following episodes will NOT be televised. Nov 19th, 2011 at 8:27 AM. I noticed that right before the tear gas attacks, the news copters all simultaneously went Ooops, were sorry, we have to go refuel. And the feeds would go black. Then on the livestream all hell would break loose. I short, I began to realize that our media had been abrogated to an extent I had previously wildly underestimated. Meanwh...

No world is enough. Entries by tag: conventions. If I were Crazy Enough to Attempt a Panel or the Like at ApolloCon, What should it be About? May 16th, 2010. What could I take on? Last year I did one on specialty teas, which was full and even over-slotted (just bare of standing room only, because we had overflow couches). It went all right, if not quite as splendidly smooth as. So, any suggestions out there? In the written dialog of Lazurus Long . . . February 12th, 2010. Anyway, once we had completed ou...
