Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Friday, 30 September 2016. Solo September final update. Not as much done as I would have liked on my Christmas SAL but I have almost completed two more sections of this one. Fingers crossed I can get up to date on this delightful stitch soon. I finished The Curious Curate today and have moved onto the next book. We have a little visitor spending the night with us, fingers crossed Harlee will sleep through the night for us. Thursday, 29 September 2016. Well that w...

Linda's Looking In New Directions Always!: A stitch a day progress
http://lind-ylous.blogspot.com/2017/01/a-stitch-day-progress.html
Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Saturday, 7 January 2017. A stitch a day progress. So far this week I have managed to stitch every day. I added some back stitch on Tuesday and some orange French knots on Wednesday. Thursday I attempted Daisy stitch and yesterday I added some more French knots but this time in red. I was attracted to the plants pots as much as the flowers even if the festive season has now passed. 7 January 2017 at 17:30. Your freehand embroidery looks great, well done. Spotligh...

Linda's Looking In New Directions Always!: October 2016
http://lind-ylous.blogspot.com/2016_10_01_archive.html
Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Monday, 31 October 2016. DH has a cold, unfortunately for me it means he sometimes snores. Last night was one of those nights and unfortunatley due to leaving the craft room/spare bedroom in a mess over the past couple of weeks it meant I ended up sleeping (or not) in the reclining chair in the conservatory. The shaped brown pieces of cardstock on top are actually gift boxes waiting to be assembled. My bedroom floor now looks like this. Sunday, 30 October 2016.

See you in 2017 - have a wonderful evening and wishing you all the best. Friday, 30 December 2016. Thursday, 29 December 2016. Today was cold and frosty but there was bright sunshine starting to warm up the day when we went out for our morning walk. Not sure how well I've captured the winter mist along the creek b...

Linda's Looking In New Directions Always!: June 2016
http://lind-ylous.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Thursday, 30 June 2016. Life is more fun. I managed to spend some time yesterday making a scrapbook layout using the a few bits and pieces from the scraps I posted about here. There is just one strip of paper, a couple of bits of cardstock, a few tags and a piece of adhesive burlap left. I think I can make at least one more card out of the paper and cardstock. The tags and burlap will be used in conjunction with other scraps at some stage. Wednesday, 29 June 2016.

Linda's Looking In New Directions Always!: HAPPY NEW YEAR
http://lind-ylous.blogspot.com/2017/01/happy-new-year.html
Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Sunday, 1 January 2017. Happy New Year to you all. Weatherwise it's been a bit bleak here today but I've brightened up the day with playing in my craft room. I made a couple of Thank You cards and dropped them down to Vintage Brew but forgot to take photos but they are similar to the one I made for Moya's birthday card. Wishing you good health and lots of fun and happy times in 2017. Enjoy your family time this evening. Nice cards, they will sell well. Storm Dori...

Linda's Looking In New Directions Always!: Buttons galore
http://lind-ylous.blogspot.com/2017/01/buttons-galore.html
Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Wednesday, 11 January 2017. I have still to find a more permanent home for the buttons in my craft room, I'm thinking I might just need another set of shelves for them. Something like a mini wine rack would be good to push the bottles into, wonder if one exists? 12 January 2017 at 09:53. A clever idea to sort the buttons by colour and keep them in these bottles. 13 January 2017 at 08:22. My Card Attic: Hazel. That bauble is just fabulous Linda my friend! Cards in...

Linda's Looking In New Directions Always!: Babysitting duty
http://lind-ylous.blogspot.com/2016/12/babysitting-duty.html
Linda's Looking In New Directions Always! Friday, 30 December 2016. DH and youngest son went out for their annual games and drinks session with other family members and friends today. I had the pleasure of looking after Harlee-Jay all day as his mummy was at work from 10 til 7. We had great fun playing with the toys he'd got for Christmas, an afternoon nap and then more playtime - I'm exhausted! What a great sign that is.perfect. 31 December 2016 at 21:47.
