The best of London's architecture, design and culture. July 14, 2012. London’s Barbican Centre are currently hosting a number of walking tours around the Estate. Having held the tours for a couple of years, the current run is due to continue until December 2012 and covers the full estate giving an outline of the Brutalism favoured by architects Chamberlain, Powell and Bon, the structural background to the arts centre, and the social context of the post-war estate.
