Mom, Dad, and I all cried at the airport, we got Chinese on the way home, Mom made peppermint fudge pie, Dad built a fire and we watched Love Actually the night I got home. Yesterday Dad made his famous egg breakfast, I showed off gifts (except theirs, of course), and, as we were sitting at the kitchen table, Mom yelled, There's someone coming to the door! December 17th, 2008 (05:17 am). Current song: the tube thudding by. My last day of work was great. Sad, but great. I was actually a lot more emotional than I thought I'd be, riding the escalator down for the last time. I've learned so much at MSN, and gotten to do so many amazing things. I know I'm not the same person I was when I arrived here three months ago, in a good way. Kourtney and I came back on the tube, she bought me some McDonald's (my first English fast food! Came back, ate, and went to bed.
