Dr Nandy has professional indemnity cover with the Medical Protection Society (MPS) a leading medical defence organisation in the UK. The policy provides cover for any legal liability and pay compensation arising out of a clinical negligence claim. The cover is for clinical services provided within the UK. Dr Nandy also has indemnity cover for medico-legal work.
Admission to Hospital

For severe conditions treatment may be required as an in patient or day patient. Dr Nandy admits his patients to the Priory Hospital in North London. For in-patient and day-patient treatment up to certain number of days are covered by medical insurers. For self funded patients hospital will require a deposit at the time of admission.

Treatment will depend on the diagnosis of the condition. Dr Nandy may suggest psychotropic medications like anti depressants, anti psychotics , mood stabilizers , benzodiazepines , hypnotics or other medications. He will issue private prescriptions and monitor the side effects and treatment response through follow-ups. He will explain how the medication works and its potential adverse effects. Dr Nandy also trained in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
