Semana Santa is a very busy week down here – it is when most Ticos hit the beach and the bottle – more so than Christmas in fact. We chilled at home for that week, watched a movie or two, savoured the delights of the Multi Plaza, where many come but few buy, and the kids caught up with some serious sleep as a respite from the 5.30 wake up time.
