So yeah, i'm 90% sure that i'll be refusing an induction when i go in on wednesday. i'm going to walk and do squats and hip circles and other stuff to try to help her descend, but otherwise i'm going to let nature take it's course and see what happens. Surprisingly, my braxton-hicks contractions have gotten more frequent and more intense today. hopefully that's a sign of things to come. Sat, Nov. 22nd, 2008 02:24 am (UTC). Thu, Oct. 23rd, 2008 01:35 am (UTC). Sun, Oct. 26th, 2008 10:35 pm (UTC). You really are hilarious. LOL I love it! And I didn't realize you're due Nov. 22nd! Tue, Oct. 14th, 2008, 05:11 pm. Canastapallooza was a blast, it was great to see Aunt Faye and Norma Jean one more time before we move to Japan. It's going to be sad to miss it for the next few years. NJ and her daughter Tina gave Annelise a baby gift, they're such sweethearts! I didn't play any games since Skip-Bo was left at home and I'm the only one that likes Phase 10, but I got some knitting done and got lots of rest. It's a good thing I made 2 packages of cookies, we ate them all.

In the case of this sculpture I've added slightly drooping corners of the mouth, which adds a permanently scowling or frowning look to the puppet. Because it's a grumpy bird! The legs and neck are covered with thin polyurethane foam, though I did remove the foam around the neck when I noticed that it would look too bulky when the "plumage" was added on top of it.
