Monday, October 12, 2009. Finally the moment arrived when we were actually going to the orphanage, Xuwen County CWI, to be exact! Xuwen CWI (or SWI, not sure which). Friday, October 16, 2009. Since there were very few toys and things that were not necessities, we decided that on our final day, we were going to add some fun to the scene! Friday, August 7, 2009. I heard from Shirley today, and we are back to the original plan of taking the blankets in checked luggage.the receiver will have to pay taxes on the items, if they are shipped, and we don't want them to have to be out any expense. Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Onward and Upward (dragging tons of luggage behind us.). A picture's worth a thousand words. Beautiful view off of Shirley's balcony. The only thing American that was available in the entire county of Xuwen was Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Pepsi, which I typically never dring at home, but we consumed gallons while in China. I will leave you with a few appetizing photos of some of the food we were offered. If only the smells could be attached as well. Bon apetit! Pray for the Nations.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. WOW, TWO snowmen in one month! That is truly a record around here! We were blessed with another snow storm on 2/23 and it literally snowed ALL day long! As you can see, the kids and canines all had a BLAST!
