Elk, whitetail, mule deer and antelope are all hunted at the same time on the ranch. You may combine elk, deer and antelope or hunt an elk and deer combo or hunt just elk. You may take either species of deer but not both. Overall success rate over the last 25 years that I have leased the ranch are 65% shoot rate on elk, 90% on deer and 95% on antelope. Dates for the 2016 General Season. October 25 - October 31. November 3 - November 9. November 12 - November 18. November 21 - November 28.

I left public lands in 1986 when I went full time on a private ranch. Camp accommodations are 12 x 14 portable cabins, insulated and heated by propane. They are quite comfortable and dry and provide for 3 hunters maximum per cabin. I have a 12 x 26 portable cook cabin complete with a full time cook providing home-style meals. Transportation for hunting is four wheel drive vehicles. I do keep horses in camp in case we have to pack an elk out. This is not a horseback hunt. Rifle - 7 Day. Elk and Deer Combo.

I just came back from 2 camps. 14 days of hardship. man what a sweat. but anyhow i learnt alot of things. many regarding the improvement of the society, many others regarding a special "somebody" hehe.
