Saturday, August 29, 2009. Good old Shannon airport. The Shannon area was beautiful, but someone told me Ireland is one of the least affordable European destinations for tourists, so I may never make it back. My hotel room. This place had 4-6 beds per room, as is normal in Europe. I lucked out and only had one roomate, so we weren't that crowded. Again, this room would have been $450 a night for a tourist. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Fort Hood, TX. Getting loaded out in North Carolina. The extent of my personal space in the barracks. There are 4 of us to a room, and we only have hot water every other day. They say they are going to fix that soon. We'll see. My over-stuffed wall locker. We got issued a ton of gear (which is all cool), but we don't have much room to store it. Sunday, December 6, 2009. Been There and Done That. The annual Turkey Bowl. I say annual because just about every year, no matter where I go I either play in or organize a Turkey Bowl. SGT Molles and I organized this one, and my team ended up winning despite not much contribution from myself. Friday, September 25, 2009. We carry and amazing amount of weaponry. Here is a picture of our right pylon. The more discerning of you may notice all three of those Hellfire missiles are different. We have several different types, and they all have their "specialties" so we are prepared for any situation. Usually we fly far enough apart from our wingman to where if he takes fire we can suppress to destroy the attacker, but sometimes we like to see how close we can get- - - - -. It is, and I love flying it.

Since our entire base at Brownwood was destroyed we moved to Camp Bowie. These were the first ones repositioning over to Camp Bowie up onto "Heartbreak Ridge." I loved you yesterday, I love you still, I always have, and I always will. I'm dreaming of a warm Christmas! THE SEMESTER IS OVER! Well, besides finals. But after finals, we're done! I couldn't be happier! Last Sunday Todd and I decided to go over to the Temple to see the Christmas lights. Back in November we helped our Stake decorate the Temple grounds and wanted to see how it all turned out. My camera has a hard time taking pictures in the dark (as most do) and turns out my lens was dirty!

Crazy I sometimes feel like I just found out I was pregnant and then there are some days when I feel like I've been pregnant for 10 years. The staff at Dixie Regional Rehab is amazing. They have these cool pillows that allow me to lay on my tummy (you'd be amazed how much you miss that once you have a baby inside of you) and every time I go, I get a 20 minute massage.
