Afterschool care - Longford Childcare Committee

Many childcare service offer afterschool care for school aged children in addition to preschool services. Some services offer a pick-up service from local national schools. The programme of activity provided varies but generally includes a hot meal/snack, homework supervision and enrichment activities. Afterschool service may be funded under the Childcare Subvention programme – CCS or CCSP where participating services participating may be able to offer reduced fees based on parents eligibility.
