Skip to Main Content. RNLI Lifeboat 52-28 off the coast of Hoy. There has been an RNLI. Lifeboat based at Longhope since 1874. In addition to the current station at the pier in Longhope the old station has been converted to a lifeboat museum. Pictures from an exercise with HMS Southampton in 2003 can be seen here.
