Sunday, June 15, 2008. The music on this was driving me crazy, so I turned it off. Labels: love and marriage. Monday, June 09, 2008. Catching Up - May. Here are some of the highlights from our past month:. A DAY AT THE ZOO. I told the kids there was NO way the white alligator was still going to be there. I guess I lied. Excuse me, but you're in my personal space. Hanging out with the cousins. The cutest little critter we saw all day. DALLIN'S FIELD TRIP - RIDING THE TRAIN. Dallin with the conductor.

one day at a time: 10 Years
http://heatheronedayatatime.blogspot.com/2008/08/10-years.html
Friday, August 22, 2008. In my mind, I was mature, experienced, and prepared. And even more importantly I was in love. I knew what I was getting into, but looking back now it's almost laughable how naive I really was. It hasn't always been easy, but marriage has also brought me more happiness that I could have imagined 10 years ago. I mean how could I have known then how it would feel to see my husband finally graduate and get his first "real" job? Or to move into our first home? Labels: love and marriage.

Friday, October 31, 2008. Every year Gracie tells us that. She's going to be a witch. I thought that "next year" would never come, but 2008 year was. The year of the witch. It's a good thing 2008 was also the warmest Halloween I can ever remember since our little witch refused to layer anything under or over her sparkly dress. It's a little gory for my taste, but I promise there is a sweet face smiling behind the bloody mask. I'm also loving the plaid button down shirt with the plaid flannel quilted coat...

one day at a time: Tagged - The Kids Tell All
http://heatheronedayatatime.blogspot.com/2008/10/tagged-kids-tell-all_16.html
Thursday, October 16, 2008. Tagged - The Kids Tell All. Dallin and Gracie were tagged by Hunter and Savannah. I'm not a fan of blog tag, but this one made me laugh and I didn't have to answer all the questions. 1 What is something mom always says to you? 2 What makes mom happy? When I snuggle her. 3 What makes mom sad? When I have to go to time out. 4 How does your mom make you laugh? When she tickles me. 5 What was your mom like as a child? A Harry Potter book. 6 How old is your mom? 31 Am I right?

one day at a time: March 2008

Thursday, March 27, 2008. Dallin's school was evacuated yesterday. The school district received a bomb threat - a phone call saying that a bomb would go off at a certain time. The caller didn't say which school was the target, so as a precaution, all the schools in the district were evacuated. Bomb-sniffing dogs swept the schools, but didn't find anything. It turns out it was all a prank. But after the events that took place yesterday, I've been thinking that something like this. Monday, March 24, 2008.

one day at a time: Farm Fun!
http://heatheronedayatatime.blogspot.com/2008/10/farm-fun.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Over the last few years, it's become a tradition for the kids and I to go to the pumpkin patch during Fall Break. I guess it's a tradition we all enjoy because the kids were begging to go again this year I was actually excited to take them. Here are some more pictures from our day:. The hayride to the pumpkin patch. The giant hay slide. That's Dallin going down head first). The kids and their pumpkins. Looks like you all had a great time! 10/29/08, 8:59 PM. 10/29/08, 9:37 PM.

one day at a time: Baby Neve
http://heatheronedayatatime.blogspot.com/2008/10/baby-neve.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Baby Neve was born on Sunday. The kids were dying to meet her, so we headed down on Monday for family night. Here's Ella and Gracie and her sweet new baby cousin:. Neve has adorable chubby cheeks and the tiniest little "thunder thighs" you've ever seen. Pretty impressive for a 1-day-old. Congrats Dave and April. Those are the most ADORABLE chubby cheeks EVER! 10/28/08, 10:05 PM. I can't wait for baby Kynley- Gracie looks so cute holding a little baby. What a little mommy! Chris...

one day at a time: Almost a Vegetarian
http://heatheronedayatatime.blogspot.com/2008/10/almost-vegetarian.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. Dallin and I were sitting in on Gracie's singing class this week while they were learning the lyrics to "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas." There is a phrase in the song where the mom thinks the hippo is going to eat the kid up, but the teacher said hippos are vegetarians. Close my dear. Very close. It's good to know that my eating habits haven't scarred her for life - I'm sure I can make up for that with some of my other habits. Gracie is a cutie. 10/24/08, 8:10 AM. Choosi...

http://heatheronedayatatime.blogspot.com/2008/10/30-days-hath-september.html
Friday, October 10, 2008. 30 Days Hath September. And I didn't blog on a single one of them. But it's a new month, and the blogging vacation is officially over. Here's the run-down on what we've been up to the last month or so:. Dallin started 2nd grade. If you ask him how he likes school, he'll probably shrug and then tell you, "It's too easy.". Here she is with her BFF, Sophie. Little dwarfs hanging on her every word. She's amazing! In other news, Dallin just finished his first season of flag football.
