After picking ripe coffee cherries for hours in the early morning, farmers load their baskets on their heads and then walk them over to our washing station. Once they arrive, we float each farmer’s coffee in a tank. Any underdeveloped or low-density cherries float to the top, where they can easily be skimmed off. Long Miles Coffee Project 2016. Isaiah 66:13 says, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”. That means if we don’t have a mother or didn’t grow up with a mother like that, we have God. It's not a role, it's a trait - and a gift. So, if you are a great mom, we love you! I feel like that in itself is a confession because I told myself I wasn’t allowed to break the binding until all my homework for the fall quarter was completed.
