IN THE FAST LANES. Long Road Racing Tests at VIR in Preparation for Indy. Long Road Racing was at Virginia International Raceway on Wednesday with the two Freedom Autosport Mazda MX-5s. It was a very productive test, and the day left us feeling confident about next week’s GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was incredibly hot at VIR: the track temperature was 145 degrees! We’ll have an update for you from Indy next week! And tagged Freedom Autosport.

IN THE FAST LANES. Freedom Autosport Photos from Road America. The Long Road Racing road trip continues this weekend at Road America, where we are getting ready for the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race on Saturday. The No. 25 and 26 Freedom Autosport Mazda MX-5s are ready to go, and we are looking forward to the first combined event for GRAND-AM and the ALMS. Freedom Autosport will race on Saturday at 1:30 pm ET. Here are a few pictures from today (click for the full-size shots):.
