http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Thursday, 28 May 2015. The Captain thinks I am rude and blushes when I hold up such veg from the box, but I find such things a glorious freak of nature. Titter ye not. You wouldn't see this on the shelf in Tesco oh no. It doesn't conform you see. It will also taste a million times better than one from the supermarket - weird veg I salute you! WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: January 2015
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Thursday, 8 January 2015. We didn't mean to go to sea. I have to admit to being a bit of an. Rod and Line (Cape 1929). Is a classic in angling literature, but it's his Swallows and Amazons stories that float my boat. I am enjoying re-reading them on these dark and dingy winter evenings. Check out these amazing new covers by Posti Pietari. On the Vintage Classics editions. Thursday, 1 January 2015. Bring out the old - Happy New Year. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: Keep the candle burning
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015/07/keep-candle-burning.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Monday, 27 July 2015. Keep the candle burning. The stunning Norman chapel of St Aldhelm's on the Purbeck coast near Worth Matravers. Is well worth the long walk from either west or east along the South West Coast Path. A place to cool yourself after the heat of a summers day, it has many delights both inside and out for you to admire. Sitting close to the cliffs, the views are stunning at this ancient Christian site. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: Quiet Waters
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015/07/quiet-waters.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Friday, 24 July 2015. If I was to choose one weather vane it would be this one. I hadn't noticed it before until the other evening on my walk back home. It would sit most comfortably in the Norfolk coastal or Broadland landscape of Ransome, but here it is in Dorset by the sea. Lovely. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: December 2014
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Tuesday, 30 December 2014. Semper tibi pendeat hamus. Quo minime credas gurgite, piscis erit. Roughly speaking means: there is scope for chance everywhere; let your hook be always ready. In the eddies where you least expect it, there will be a fish. There is always a chance indeed. My mate Jim says that I could talk my float under, but that is just how I approach my fishing. Days have been written off before and then bang! It happens. Ever the optimist.

WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: March 2015
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Monday, 30 March 2015. Friday, 27 March 2015. Certainly don't make a summer. What with all the hullabaloo around the eclipse and the thawing out after last knockings. End of the coarse fishing season) I nearly forgot to record one of the high points for me in recent years on the last day, 14th March. Was it a 2lb roach? Dace of a pound? Three needed the landing net with the biggest of 1lb 3oz. Wednesday, 25 March 2015. Market Finds No 17. As per usual, I gau...

WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: February 2015
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Friday, 27 February 2015. Friday Ditty Pt 12. There hasn't been a Friday Ditty for a while. I have been getting all melancholy over the music of my youth - this is one of them, an absolute belter by the mighty Wild Swans. Was it really 1982? Great video and in a rather lovely sort of way my nippers like it too. Enjoy. Wednesday, 25 February 2015. Wakey, wakey Jasper! Monday, 23 February 2015. The next best thing. WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET: Holiday reading and viewing
http://wheregreenroadsmeet.blogspot.com/2015/08/holiday-reading-and-viewing.html
WHERE GREEN ROADS MEET. AND TIME STANDS STILL. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Holiday reading and viewing. I always have a healthy reading pile on the go. During the holiday season I do try to keep it realistic, so here it is for this holiday period. I also include a film which will be viewed at some time as, this year, we have not migrated east to our usual haunt of the North Norfolk coast. We are in the shadow of Black Hill. A book on Rena Gardiner I thought would be rather fine - they did it! Cant break th...
