The proposed amendment to section 9 of article 1 of the Constitution would allow the Legislature to authorize up to seven casinos in New York State for the legislated purposes of promoting job growth, increasing aid to schools, and permitting local governments to lower property taxes through revenues generated. Shall the amendment be approved? Despite the distracting language of the proposal- Who would say no. The notion of reassembling the 200-year-old house had been reduced to reusing some of the materials salvaged during its demolition: the bricks, the door surround, and the limestone window sills. He and Cunningham were introduced to two Hudson women whom "Knocker" Alger brought up in an automobile and introduced to them in front of the Worth House. Then they went to the Race place. He refused to answer any questions as to improper relations with these women. He stated that on the occasion of these trips to the Race place he charged the expenses of these trips to the agency. Someone who had attended the presentation on July 1. Which had not been open to the public, told Gossips. To describe the concepts presented, others (privately) chose the adjective generic. Last summer, the kitchen addition at the Dr. Oliver Bronson House, built toward the end of the 19th century, was removed. And this summer, work is underway to restore the south wall of the house, where the addition had been. Identical wainscoting is found on the interior wall of the bay, below the windows, so the presumption is that this piece was dislodged during the ongoing work on the foundation in this area of the building. Show that you value.

Has received word that two studies of interest to the citizens of Hudson have been completed, but it seems it will be a while before the public learns the results of either one of them. The first is the outcome of the item by item analysis of the single bid received. And the value engineering for the police and court building. That all involved are "working to stay with the plan submitted to OCA. The second is the feasibility study.
