Children experiment with sounds just as they do with objects and enjoy copying noises. But to be able to create the right sounds for speech, it is important to develop tongue muscles. Speech therapists recommend tongue exercises, but Look who’s talking introduces activities that involve the same movements as the exercises, but are more fun, such as eating a doughnut and licking the sugar from around your mouth or blowing bubbles.
