Saturday, October 20, 2012. How did this happen? Thursday, October 18, 2012. We are pretty much settled now and getting in to a routine. Sofie really loves her new school and teacher. It has been a bit of a learning experience for her having to deal with all the ongoing questions, comments and stares over her "sparkle", but so far Sof is handling it all like a pro. We made our first trip in the car (since March 2011) to Shriners! Our Aunt Jenny and Uncle Guy came by for a visit and they made pirate hats.

Saturday, April 13, 2013. Sofie went on a field trip with her class to a fantastic nature preserve. They learned all about the native critters and plants and went on an exploratory hike. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with green all around and our first choir practice. Our neighbor started a community choir group for kiddos and since the girly loves to sing, she was all for joining. We did some fun local stuff. This kid is becoming quite the bocce ball player. First time on ice skates!

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. We made a trip to Shriner's last week for a six month check up. As I suspected, our pal "Sparkle" needs an adjustment for height. She also needs a new foot since her current foot is almost 2 sizes smaller than the other. This kid is so tough on poor Sparkle! Good ol' "Dan The Foot Man" to the rescue! He is going to let us drop it off one morning for the adjustment, new foot and give it a facelift while we wait. Stay tuned.it is going to be fabulous! April 24, 2013 at 8:25 PM.
