The conkers made by Orion Class are varied and use different materials and techniques. Drawings and thoughts on how these look were done in advance of work on the different sized and shaped chicken wire frames. Here are images of a few of these drawings;. These surrogate fruit will be large, prominent round ‘conkers’ that will be suspended to swing within chosen trees. Her original idea was to re-interpret the trapeze automata and help participants design chair characters to hang in trees. Why chairs?
