Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Tripp started swim classes this summer. On a blistering hot day, we entered an expansive facility at UTC. Built in 2008, the aquatic center surpasses the older recreational center. There is a 168 foot water slide and a lazy river pool. To my chagrin, Tripp flew down the slide like a professional. Sunday, July 6, 2014. I've been looking forward to a trip to Florence, since I last visited over 15 years ago. It's slightly more on the touristy side than I remembered. But, on that last visit it was fall not the high travel season of summer. I don't have an ounce of Italian blood, at least not that I know of, but I love Italy. Saturday, July 28, 2012. Each year we return to Virginia for Rob's annual meeting with Atlantic Dominion. This year we decided to fly and crossed our fingers that we made it to Virginia without too much of a meltdown from either Tripp or one of us. In order to celebrate her life, Rob's family decided to throw a small party in her honor. Here are some photos taken during that time. The Davis side of the family came for a visit. Aaron and baby Meredith. Laura's friends who prepared a beautiful lunch for us. Grandaddy came into town for the Celebration.

Monday, August 18, 2014. Day Three in Florence. On our second day, we took a guided walking tour of Florence to get acquainted with important sites and with the layout of the city.
