We went to Apple Hill with Grandpa and Crystal. We tried a few new places that will hopefully become tradition. We tried some made after ordered amazingly delicious doughnuts at Rainbow Orchards. We went to Dan's for some u-pick apples. We went home with a 20lb box and spent the week making caramel apple cake, apple sauce, and all kinds of apple goodies. Posted by The Close's Place. Disney on Ice Surprise. So I took Leah on a surprise date to see Disney on Ice. I loved having some alone time with her and giving her clues all throughout dinner. Even when we walked in she was still confused. She had never been to anything like this before. We had a great time and she loved the show. The Close's Place: Pumpkin Patch

Although it was 80 degrees at the pumpkin patch this October, we still had a great time. Nana came along and we played for a few hours and enjoyed our cider slushies before going out to scour the fields looking for the perfect pumpkins. Some took WAY longer than others (ahem, Andrew). 1st Day of School. Andrew began his 3rd grade year. Leah started kindergarten. Evan will start preschool this week. Look who is raising her hand the 1st 10 seconds of Kindergarten. In preparation for Andrew's baptism, I took him to the temple for his photo shoot. He was a great sport considering how much he dislikes taking pictures. We are grateful that Andrew is setting such a wonderful example for his little sister and brother. Andrew's baptism was beautiful. He planned the whole thing.
