Sunday, March 22, 2009. Foot of the pig. Last night Bryden and I had a belated celebration for our 4 year anniversary. We had worked hard all day (I had written a 12 page paper with 3 appendices.) and had biked to and from the gym. It was actually the first time I've ridden my bike this year- I was really excited to get it out again! It was fun cycling through the streets of Montreal, even though it was very chilly. I arrived at the gym with numb fingers and a huge smile on my face. Sunday, March 15, 2009.

Saturday, August 15, 2009. After sleeping from 10 pm-7 am (we were getting over our jet lag pretty quickly), we had breakfast at the hotel. It was another more Western style meal, which included orange juice, coffee, pastries, cereal with yogurt, and really good pineapple and grapes. You had to take off your shoes to enter the changing room and they made you put on this paper mask before putting on any of your clothes (I guessed it was to protect the clothing from the large amounts of makeup that Japanese women wear).
