Run Craft Read Cook: May 2015

Run Craft Read Cook. Thursday, 28 May 2015. Craft - train crochet. A blurry snap of crochet in progress on the train - I've finally picked up the big blanket again. I love travelling by train - I find a train journey so much more relaxing than a car journey - and a two hour train trip by myself feels like a proper treat. Two hours for crochet, reading, thinking, gazing at the rolling countryside. If the destination is the seaside it's pretty much perfect. Monday, 25 May 2015. Sunday, 24 May 2015. The mai...

My First Wollmeise | Sewing Slowly

Sewing, Knitting, Chatting – at my own pace. October 12, 2013. I cannot take credit for the title of this post – that goes to Minxy. Who suggested it at Knit Night for a blog post of her own which she hasn’t even had time to type up yet. Sorrrrry. However it an apt one, as we have both purchased our first skein of Wollmeise within the past fortnight, both from destashes on Ravelry. This is my skein, in the Zenzi WD colourway:. I am not going to lie. I am in awe of those colours. I tried my best t...I hav...

Make craft. love. The Easiest Mushroom Risotto Recipe? Paper Flower Wall Art →. Learning to Crochet…. February 29, 2012. 8230; has certainly been an adventure. It’s something I’d been meaning to do for a long time, and a recent week-long break was the perfect opportunity to actually get off my butt and try it, with the help of YouTube, of course. I headed down to Loop. I did 80 stitches and ended up with six or seven rows, and I only used one of the skeins. How does it look for a first crochet project?

pretty good: January 2012
http://a-pretty-good-blog.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. One of the many things I've been working on lately is designing knitting patterns. I've made more swatches in the past few months than I think I have in my entire life. I know it sounds naive of me, but I really imagined I'd get it perfect on the first try. Sigh. not quite. These arrow mittens are one of my first original designs. However, I can't decide if I like them enough to officially release the pattern. What do you think? Posted by kelli ann. Monday, January 30, 2012.
