Thursday, November 30. I only had one skein of the DK yarn in my stash, so my scarf isn't very long, but I do like it a lot. Yarn: Peru DK Luxury Yarn; 70% Merino wool, 20% Alpaca, and 10% Silk; 50g/124 yds. Pattern: Painter's Scarf from RYC book Classic Art. Started: November 24/ Finished: November 30. After it was filtered I canned it in mason jars. The cleanup was a bit busy with maple syrup on everything! It's another one of those things that we love: being able to make something instead of buying it. We only tapped four trees this year and it was a success so I imagine next year we will expand to more taps.
