We exited the park and drove into Fairyland Canyon. Anything named Fairyland already has my interest. I admit I was a little disappointed at the lack of wildflowers I had hoped to find in Fairyland (shouldn't there be wildflowers or ferns or something? Starting to descent on the Queen's Garden Trail. Could I handle going through the process and then miscarrying, which is a real possibility? Ltimately this is all in God's hand, but is all that worth my desire to have my own flesh and blood? Especially when there are children out there who need good homes? Does a child have to be my flesh and blood to make it special or can any child brought into our home and lives be just as special?

I was thirsty, it was a warm day, but I didn't want standard coffee from a chain, so I found a shop called Nostalgia a few more blocks down and even though it wasn't rated the highest on Yelp, people commented on the nice atmosphere. Ponderings and the Like. Just some of my thoughts written down. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Maybe It Was Memphis. Sunday, July 29. We were brought in and sat down a booth near the counter. The counters did have elbow spots where people over the years have rubbed off the design. It certainly felt like we stepped into the fifties. I ordered the sweet potato pancakes, eggs, bacon, and grits. This was what was recommended online, so that's what I did and it was well worth it. Posted using BlogPress from my iPad.
