Adventures in sewing, art and burlesque. While waiting to find suitable yarn to finish my crochet dress I’ve been making quite a few other things. One of them is this autumn-colored simple chevron-patterned sweater. The Yarn I used was a cheap acrylic, but I think it suits the sweater quite well! These photographs were taken by my mother. Adventures in sewing, art and burlesque. 8211; one day. The necklace is crocheted with Anchor Freccia 12 and a 1,25 mm hook. The finer the yarn the lacier the effect! I’m so used to working with very fine yarn lately that is seems like any project made with worsted weight yarn is practically completed in nanoseconds. Ok, slight exaggeration, but still. Finally I’d like to present another nice background I’ve used for project photographs: the crumbling concrete wall of my house! Older: Free Fall Tank.

This is a style of padding that is adjustable, so changing the dress form to a client’s/friend’s measurements will be simpler. A dress form (either adjustable or solid). Around 90 cm (1 yard) four way stretch lycra/spandex. Measurements of the body you are imitating.
