December 13, 2014. Some exciting things have been afoot! Most importantly, summer’s struck, necessitating the opening of the household Adventure Time. Advent calendar enjoying a daily dose of semi-fossilised chocolate. Sides from that important matter, gigs have been played, songs have been started and SOME have even been FINISHED. Should be a great night, featuring some brand new songs from yours truly! Chris Evans, host of ‘ The Curve Ball. Finally – in a shameless bid to capitalise on the excess...

Ship in a bottle. Tack around and catch the wind, ride the current out to sea. Through the glass it’s glistening in yellow, blue and green. And there’s nothing to anchor. But the things left behind. Follow the water through a channel to the stars. Cause there’s no crossing back over the bar. And the miles all stand in line, like the steady march of days. And it’s not much kind of any consolation that to go’s just another way to stay. And a ship in a bottle. Is only ever passing through. Each repercussion...

Seduced by the wet exotism of Picardy, Loren Chorley and her decided to go green and join La Menuiserie. Apolline is represented by the ever-so patient Da End gallery in Paris. Through the use of proper me...

Alive enough to give a little more. February 27, 2015. One day I’ll look back and think ‘wowee! I survived February 2015! I can do anytheeeengzz! 8217; Right now however, feel akin to the shipwreck survivor awakening battered, sunburnt and bruised on a cannibal inhabited island with no hope of rescue, let alone access to decent late-night Lebanese takeaway. Epic. That’s enough bitching though – had mega-funtimes up at BAT ATTACK. In the Leard State Forest a couple of weeks ago – compadre Nic Cassey.

Solo tour – check! August 29, 2014. Now that I’m safely ensconced in the heated comfort of my Katoomba haven, a few thoughts on the tribulations of solo touring emerge:. A) NOTHING is more important than having appropriate back support while driving long distance. Failing that, knowing a basic yoga routine is a pretty decent fallback. B) the best gigs are oft-times the ones least promoted in the most out of way spots… special thanks to Felicity and Lew at The Witches’ Garden. F) shredded tyres are the la...
