The Langford Update: August 2010
http://thelangfordupdate.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Do Moms Really Vacation? We went on vacation to Gatlinburg in the middle of July with my parents, but I hesitate to call it a vacation. It took us four hours to make the two and a half hour trip after several bathroom stops, including ones for Elisha saying he needed to potty, which meant he pooped his pants. All I can say is I'm still wondering when I'm going to get a vacation. If your answer is in 18 years, please don't respond. At a cabin in Cades Cove. 4 and 27 instead of 24/7.

http://thelangfordupdate.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Haw-Haw Party, Elisha's 2nd Birthday. Lisha riding Nellie with Cole. They look like they are doing a better job than I did. I couldn't get her to go in anything but a circle. Caleigh and Maddie holding hands in the pasture. Caleigh said Maddie was her best friend on the way home. Daddy helping Lisha ride on Cole-Cole's shoulders. Elisha with Horse Cake and Sheriff Badge cupcakes. He was quite bashful as we sang. He would glare up at us with an "I'm-rotten" expression. Enjoys te...

Honestly, the program we use on our computer to upload pictures has not been functioning properly, and it just took us forever to get it fixed. Whew! Now, we are up and running- no more excuses! Sam always wants to wear his daddy's belt. It wraps twice around him- he thinks he is so cool! Scott and I are trying to hit some of...

http://thelangfordupdate.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We have four baby robins nested in our laundry room window. The kids have taken down the blind to watch them. How awesome it is to watch the mother bird go find a worm and bring it back to feed them. In just three days, we have also seen the babies go from waiting with mouths open for the motherGod's beautiful provision. Picture of half-dead snake in garbage can. We found five caterpillars on our porch at once. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Happy 3rd Birthday, Elisha! I made homemad...

http://thelangfordupdate.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 15, 2011. 7 Days of Snow in.Cleveland, TN. After 7 days, we still have snow on the ground, but we haven't been out in a few days. Snow is fun, but have you ever tried to dress three small children for it? It takes longer to dress them than they are willing to stay out in it. Josiah dressed as Rapunzel. During the day, he had told me a secret, "I'm going to give Granna all my "sug" and he tried, but he'll never be able to give it all away. Elisha on the phone and Kit Kat in the basket.

The Langford Update: Christmas Bliss
http://thelangfordupdate.blogspot.com/2011/01/christmas-bliss.html
Saturday, January 8, 2011. Rush Rush. Busy. Busy. Isn't everyone's holiday season as busy as ours? The Barn at the Langfords. A white Christmas in Chatsworth (and Cleveland). We woke up at about 7:00 Christmas morning and it was snowing. By the time we left our house, we had almost 3 inches in Cleveland. It really didn't lay until later in the day in Chatsworth, but because of the potential for slippery spots on the road we stayed with my in-laws until Monday. Caleigh helping me test out the "Kids and Pe...

The Clarks: Ethiopia
http://rockyandsuzanne.blogspot.com/2014/10/ethiopia.html
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. Psalm 40:5. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. In the last week and a half I have begun to allow myself to feel some of the emotion from the trip. What does that look like? Also, someone who truly knows my heart sent this video to me this week. I believe it shares a glimpse into how I feel after my trip. I am forever changed an...Rocky...

The Langford Update: Aquarium Again
http://thelangfordupdate.blogspot.com/2011/04/aquarium-again.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. My parents had planned to take the kids to the aquarium for weeks, but Lisha came down with strep throat right before. Thankfully, he had a miraculous recovery after a quick trip to the doctor. Within a few hours, he was out in the grass mowing. The boys catching a few ZZZs before we arrived. Caleigh curled up in a display of some glow-in-the-dark walnut somethings. What is Granna doing here with Josiah and penguins? She looks so much like Katie right here. Two and not so terribl...

A "Moody" Kind of Life. Enjoying the little graces God extends. December 29, 2009. My precious baby boy is a true joy- worth every single minute of the wait! It's hard to believe that Cole is already a month old. It's been a busy month for him.and for us. Here is a glimpse:. Papa K and Khaki proud of their 6th grandchild. Gigi was able to stay for another week after Cole arrived. We appreciated the help, and Sam especially enjoyed having her around to give him some much needed attention. The proud parent...
