Dirk’s Shitweed | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/dirks-shitweed
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. Some of you who read my blog won’t find this funny at all, and I apologize in advance. I, on the other hand, thought it was hilarious. Dirk, one of my employees, just came into work after having the whole weekend off. I asked him how his weekend went. “Pretty good,” he said. “I smoked some Shitweed.”. I laughed like I understood so as not to appear ignorant, but then my curiosity got the better of me. 8220;What’s Shitweed? 8221; I asked.

When the Mayor and the Editor are Feuding | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/06/15/when-the-mayor-and-the-editor-are-feuding
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. When the Mayor and the Editor are Feuding. Only in a small town like Gallup does this happen. Joe, the editor and publisher of one of the two newspapers here in town, has an ongoing feud with Harry, the mayor. It was recently exascerbated when Joe ran a poll in his paper alleging that nearly 60% of people in town are dissatisfied with the mayor’s job performance. It makes me glad I just run a little coffee shop. Date : June 15, 2009.

One Man’s Roofing is Another Man’s… | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/09/16/one-mans-roofing-is-another-mans
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. One Man’s Roofing is Another Man’s…. Every so often, I have some minor epiphany that makes me understand my dad a little more. My dad had two main jobs that I can remember while I was growing up. He was either working in the ministry in various capacities (pastor, youth pastor, etc) or he was roofing houses. I started putting that knowledge to work shortly after high school. I continued learning and continued building. Several of ...So th...

The Jerkrenak's Den: December 2005
http://jerkrenak.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Random musings of the possibly human being known as Stuart. Friday, December 23, 2005. Of Birdhouses, Wardrobes and Wuchak. Sister took her kids and I off to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Electric Safari last night. Really cool, walking through the zoo keeping the animals up late (or seeing the ones that sleep all day actually moving) while there are thousands of strings of Christmas lights strung around all over the place. Poor, girl. I think I have given her a permanent fear of birdhouses. Alsan felt dim...

Random musings of the possibly human being known as Stuart. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Or maybe just a way to insult someone without them knowing it? Here's how to say the three phrases left by the commentors. For Tiff: And your point is? Translation: Koebae checkuh dulvee shool? Long e, short a - short e, short u - long u, long e - school without the c). For Camy: Bite me! Please note, this is not something smart to say to a Saurian. You DO NOT want them to bite you.). I think it was Scott). Been fairly ...

The Jerkrenak's Den: February 2006
http://jerkrenak.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Random musings of the possibly human being known as Stuart. Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Has anyone seen where I left my train of thought? I can be so random in where my attention lands. Always tough to keep going with one big project over a span of time. I tend to be way too ADD for that. :). One of these days I'll figure out the key to harnessing my spazzistic attention and not bounce around so much. But I'll try and get on with the Krikicho and Och soon. :0). Cafe as Creative Expression | Rob in Gallup
https://robingallup.wordpress.com/2009/06/25/cafe-as-creative-expression
From there to here and here to there, funny things are everywhere. Cafe as Creative Expression. So for those of you who don’t already know (and if you’re my friend on Facebook, your not knowing is sort of unthinkable), about a month ago I became the co-owner of the cyber cafe in Gallup where I had gone to work about two months prior. I want to share a major part of the reason I love it so much. I love the way that this place becomes, a little bit more every day, an extension of my own personality. I love...
