I bought a car and it feels good to finally have that freedom. I miss seeing my son more, but Mondays and Tuesdays are now the best days of my week. I am trying to keep myself busy so I don't dwell on my missing him. Ivan and I are on pretty good terms, which is great! We need to get along so Noah knows we both love the hell out of him! Friday, November 6, 2009. We were so excited for Halloween this year because Lydia was going to be here for the weekend. We've been planning on having her out here for Halloween since June. One of Lydia's birthday presents this year was a ticket to see the musical " Wicked. She has been wanting to see this show for ages. My parents decided to come out as well for the show and Halloween. Our tickets were for the 2:00 matinee on Halloween. Lydia LOVED the show! The Family the Rides Together, Stays Together.

Saturday, April 18, 2009. Disheartened, I pulled out the snow shovel for some old school snow removal. I cleared a bit more snow from the driveway when BAM! 160;The handle of my snow shovel snapped. Apparently the snow gods do not want my driveway cleared today. Needless to say I have officially given up and will wait for the snow to melt. It's supposed to be 70 degrees on Monday. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. We went to Utah this year for Thanksgiving. It was a long drive but worth it. We had a great time. We got to have Lydia with us this year. Kaitlyn loved seeing her. The two always get along so well. Kaitlyn had fun with her cousins too. On Thanksgiving we went over to Jared's sister, Angela's house. We all had an ugly Christmas sweater contest. It was fun, our brother in law, Chip, won the prize fruitcake. Here is the picture of our family. They were well over due. H.

Thursday, June 3, 2010. We haven't posted anything for a while so I thought I'd add something real quick. Most of my family drove to Denver for the Memorial Day weekend. It was a weekend full of activities. On Saturday night we all went to the Rockies game. Sunday night we had a big neighborhood BBQ. And on Monday the real fun began. It was a great race. We all had so much fun that it may become a new family tradition. Here's a couple of photos from the weekend. Rockies vs. Dodgers. We all did it!
