Friday, June 20, 2008. Kathy is a Kindergarten teacher in San Antonio and a super person. She is on a hard journey in life, having felt tremendous loss years ago that lingers to this day. She is so beautiful, a smile that lights up the planet and a sense of humor and easy laugh that make you feel instantly comfortable with her. I REALLY want her to join us again next year. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Two days ago Mando went fishing with Chase. She had a wonderful time and was so excited when I got home to tell me about the fish they caught. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. What a wonderful Memorial Day we had this year. Everything started off slowly. We actually got to sleep in. That alone is fantastic. Once everyone got moving we had to run to Academy because I just could not squeeze into my old swim suit. I tried but I am not back to my pre-pregnancy size or shape. After a depressing time trying on suits I found one that was not half bad. And away we went. We had a wonderful day filled with good food, great company and happy kids.

Mando and I both have a mixture of feelings that I do not think I will ever be able to put into words. He of course is handling them better than I am.
