Graham Party of Six. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Why Canadians like their Maple Syrup! I thought it would be fun to show you a little outing we went on as a family a little while back, something totally Canadian.going to the Sugar Bush. We went last year, and had so much fun, we had it on our spring to do list. This particular Sugar Bush is about 5 minutes from our house, a perfect Saturday morning adventure. This is the "new" way of tapping trees, these hoses grab the sap and carry it to larger. This is the...

Cerebral Blueprint: January 2011
http://cerebralblueprint.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
January 29, 2011. Valentine's Decor (or Lack Thereof). For all holidays I at least try to have my entry table decorated. Sometimes, like now, it is the only place decorated. Usually in January I leave out a few snowmen, pine cones and pine boughs, but since I just recently got Christmas taken down (except for a few lingering wreaths), I figured I had better shoot for Valentine's Day instead. So here's my entry table including FREE subway art from eighteen25. And Tatertots and Jello. Are leftovers from my...

Cerebral Blueprint: October 2010
http://cerebralblueprint.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
October 11, 2010. Last year I did quite a few Halloween crafts but didn't get them on my blog until the holiday was over, so I've been waiting a whole year to post these ideas. After years of buying different treat bags for Halloween that didn't last and fell apart I decided to make some cute ones for my two youngest boys out of black Walmart reusable cloth bags. At least the next ideas wer a hit! The string cheese ...

The Finishing Touch: March 2009
http://finishingtouchdesigns.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 23, 2009. This past week was a busy week for me. On Monday, March 16, 2009, I completed my training to be a substitute teacher for Clark County School District. Now I am licensed, trained and ready to go. . A woman from St. George called me and asked if I would do another jewelry show there in May. She had seen one of my bracelets that someone bought at the show that Stacia Shaw, another niece, hosted for me in February. I am going to stop writing so that I can go clean out my food stor...

What to use wednesdays. January 07, 2010. Dill pickle dip recipe. Okay, get your pen and pad ready, because this is a big long complex recipe. (hee hee). 2 c sour cream (1 16 oz. container). Claussen Kosher Dill pickles (I usually use the Halves). Chop up most of the dill pickles and mix them in the sour cream. I love it with a ruffled potato chip. . Claussen Kosher Dill Pickles are the best ev-er! You find them in the refrigerated section. I never buy anything else. Im a pickle snob. :). January 06, 2010.
