Wednesday, May 21, 2014. My nephew Matt got married on May 10th, so mom and I went back to the wedding. We flew to STL, visited with Katie, met up with Shari and Mark and then drove to Kentucky. While we were in STL we went to the Basilica and toured the mosaics. Some were just beautiful. It's nice to see them outside of Europe. On the way we stopped at a couple of distilleries, here are some pics I took at Makers Mark. Boy does it smell good in there, just like fresh bread dough. View my complete profile.

A few years ago I had a rotten wooden sidewalk and steps torn out at my apartments, and replaced with interlocking pavers. I though they'd last longer, and be a bit more flexible. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. New Bed Frame and Duvet Cover. I've been meaning to buy a new bed frame with an upholstered headboard, and finally found one I liked. Ordered it from CB2 a few weeks ago. It's been sitting here in pieces, today I finally got around to putting it together. Padded Insert added to frame. The pieces of this frame actually went together pretty easily, but it was a 2 person job. I'm really glad Valda came up and gave me a hand with it. It's a big change from the yellow sunflowers.
